You know that saying, "don't hate the player, hate the game"--we've all heard it. So cliché, as sayings are by definition, but in certain situations so frustratingly poignant. Come on, we've all been there. He seemed like a good guy. No, he seemed like a great guy. You met him and it was like time stood still. You were all butterflies, weak at the knees, with eyes glued to his mesmerizingly beautiful smile. Swoon. Shit, you'd think you had never seen a guy before if you didn't know better, given the way you were acting. But in your defense, let's not forget to mention his irresistible charm, his oh-so-dreamy ability to make you feel like you were his number one, his smooth moves that swept you off your feet (and weak knees). What wasn't to love? I mean yeah, you knew about his reputation. But this was different. You were different. Everything was different.
So summer has begun and life has that new energy that shows itself each year from May to July. Brought on by the sunshine, the warm weather, the travel, the freedom and the possibility that summertime emits--it's a contagious (and deliciously addicting) vibe that makes you want to let down your hair, throw caution to the wind, and just follow your heart's desires.
People are seeing new places, experiencing new things, and meeting new people. Summer is the time for adventure and this is precisely why summer flings come to be. Why not live and let go? The thought is exciting, invigorating, and for some, maybe even a little scary (the good kind).
What social media has done to us
It's Saturday night and I'm at home working on this site that I built 2 years ago. We've gone through some changes but we're still in start-up form. In the last year I have changed ownership of this company and turned it into a corporation while dealing with a lawsuit. 23 years old and I own a corporation that I started as a project at 21. Since then I've graduated college, become gainfully employed and started a career. Co-Ed Review was started as a project from a passion to find good music and build around that. I love that I can work my career job 45 hours a week and come home and work on this site. Having two completely different jobs is awesome and I think everyone should try it. The mix-up from one subject to the other eases the mind but keeps it sharp and always on. I'm here to talk about what social media has done to us.
When was the last time you took a selfie without makeup? When was the last time you took a picture immediately upon waking up and posted it online? Before you respond, actually take a second and say damn I always put make up and take 10 clicks before I post to Instagram or Facebook or Twitter.
Who remembers Roll-Over minutes from the old AT&T commercials? That was the huge sell probably a decade ago or more. Today's big sell? Data, data is the biggest player in deciding what company to go with for your mobile phone. T-Mobile has changed the game again.
The only snag of this deal? It doesn't roll over year from year, but month to month is something unheard of. They are going to start this offer with 10Gigs of data, whether it be 4G or 3G, they will roll it over. So if you have a month of traveling coming up you won't be penalized for not using data this month to save up for your next trip.
My boy's over at Turnt Media killed it again with another video. Alot of people say they want I'm Shmacked to come in town but Bobby and the boys have been putting the hours in and clearly show they can cover events from parties to bid days to football games. Hell they have even started working with GSU's bookstore on some of their commercials.
The Paint/Block party looks like it was a blast and the aerial coverage is unreal. Hot girls, cold drinks and great music, what more could you ask for? Enjoy and show some love!
*Look for us this Thursday as we'll be at Southern for the App State game! We'll have plenty of koozies and the cameras will be rolling!
Here's your morning video that will make you laugh and smile. Hopefully if you're having a rough Friday (if there is such a thing) then it will help turn it around.
Looks like Dom is back at it with another muscle crushing video that men everywhere can relate to. I wonder if we can convince him to make a guest appearance on our Tailgate Tour. Suns out Guns out (Say it with your chest)
Move over human Barbie, you've got a new younger competitor in town. Lolita Richi of Ukraine has surpassed in my opinion the human barbie appearance. Lolita clearly has an eccentric obsession with barbie like body, oh and she's only 16 years old...
With a 32F bra size and a waist that appears to be a size 0, it's pretty sickening and clearly not healthy. In the United States the boob job would run you probably around $6k, the other plastic surgery I'd imagine would be around $10,000 bucks on top of the make up and contact ordeal. In the US insurance would never cover that. I can't take the girl seriously with how doll like she really is.
Imagine seeing her on the street today and then imagine seeing her on the street when you were 7 years old.
Jimmy Fallon is actually half decent at golf... atleast with Tiger Wood's help. All this to show off Nike's new line of Vapor irons.
